Who is Jesus?

Jesus is the Son of God, the Savior of the world, who lived a perfect life, died on the cross for our sins, and rose again to offer forgiveness, hope, and eternal life to all who believe in Him.

We are Vibrant - there is a tangible sense of relaxed, joyful fun and life in our family. 

We are Authentic - we are down to earth, honest and real, and we don’t change depending on who we are around.

Lifepoint is a place where God is central, praised and needed 

We are Dependant - We prioritise our relationship with God above all else. We come to him to receive all we need, and are reliant on the Holy Spirit in all we do. We need God like children need their parents, we can’t go on without him. He is everything.  

We are Confident - We pray with bold, simple faith knowing our God is actually listening and is for us! We teach and model a praying lifestyle so everyone can be confident. We trust God, even when his plans don’t make sense yet.  

We are Worshippers- We are overwhelmed by the greatness and love of God, and live in humble worship in response to his grace. We love to sing God’s praises individually and together! We are grateful people who know all we have is because of Jesus.

We are Generous - We give joyfully and abundantly of our time and resources without restraint or judgement as all we have is God’s anyway. We hold on to our finances and possessions lightly in response to God’s goodness to us.  

We are Inviters - We invite people to discover Jesus.  

We are Equippers - We equip people to be a light in their particular circumstances and situation. 

Our Story

The Lifepoint Journey

Our church was planted in 2007 when a small group of young adults and families from a city campus started meeting in a cinema at Strathpine. Their heart was to start a church where regular Aussies could hear the gospel, and our passion is the same today. 

Lifepoint is now a growing mid-sized multigenerational church where anyone is welcome to explore faith in a safe and welcoming space. 

We believe church isn't a club for good religious people to feel better about themselves, but a family of real and imperfect people trying to find what it means to be truly human. 

We believe the answer to our deepest desires, questions and problems are found in the life and message of Jesus.  No matter what your stage of life or your beliefs there is a space for you in our community. We have teenagers, young adults, families, singles and seniors in our church, and we would love to meet you too.

More about us...

Lifepoint is a growing and vibrant church in Moreton Bay. Whoever said that the church is dying forgot to tell these people. It is a place and people known in this region for being incredibly welcoming and strangely authentic, people just seem real (even if they are messy).

We always talk about Jesus, and we believe he is the way, the truth and the life. We believe he was who he claimed to be, and that through him everyone is being called into God's family. We believe that God is calling you to be forgiven, redeemed and sent!

There is a tangible and undeniable sense of God being alive at Lifepoint. We love to pray and sing, experience God's presence and love and serve one another. 

We believe that the Bible is true and helpful. We love the Bible, preach the Bible, read the Bible, and most importantly, live by its often counter-cultural teaching.

We don’t talk much about rules and religion at Lifepoint, we talk about love, grace, truth, and a strange new free and joyful way to live that involves a supernatural power called the Holy Spirit.

Lifepoint is a church of groups. We have dozens of small groups and we take the home as seriously as we do our larger gatherings.

In a world where people have fewer people who really know them, Lifepoint is full of friendship. It is refreshing to see people who genuinely love each other, even though they all don’t agree about everything and come from different social, cultural and religious backgrounds.

There are so many young people here! We have hundreds of kids, teenagers and young adults at Lifepoint. Who would have thought it but these young people LOVE church, and are being trained as people who will make a difference in this world for good.

Lifepoint people get together in groups all the time and serve our needy, our disabled, our schools, the struggling, and offer real help in financial and other ways. It is a place people call upon because they know their mess will be met not with judgement, but grace and love.

It is a training church, with the main focus being on loving God and loving others where people are already working and living. There are a very high number of leaders here.


Lifepoint is a Queensland Baptist Church

Lifepoint is a proud member of the QB Movement. Queensland Baptist churches are known for their love for Jesus, taking the Bible seriously, and for being people of genuine faith and love in their community.  

Each Sunday, more than 35,000 men, women and children meet in Queensland Baptist churches throughout our state to praise and worship God. What a celebration!
